STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE
Sift:
2 cups flour
4 tsp. Baking powder
4 tsp. Sugar
1/2 tsp. Salt
Cut in 1/2 cup shortening
Add 2/3 cup milk
Combine gently. Roll out on floured board and cut with cookie cutter. Bake on ungreased sheet 450 degrees, 10-12 minutes. Split and serve warm with sweetened fresh strawberries and whipped cream. |
